Happy Go Lucky Shawlette

Made for a coworker; she handed me a roll of Caron Cakes yarn in Macron and said, "Here ya go - make something with this." This is what I made.

Not difficult at all. I just wish I could have had more of that yarn but that color was discontinued. Rats.

That's OK. I have some Caron Cake in Faerie Cake color, and I'm going to use that for a shawl.

Harry Potter Scarf - Ravenclaw

So this is the progress I've made so far on my Ravenclaw scarf. Yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some dark olive green yarn, and I already have silvery yarn, so the next one I'll do is a Slytherin scarf.

With this Ravenclaw scarf, I'm using the house colors as described in the books - blue & bronze. For some reason that is not clear to me, the movies changed it to blue & silver. Which looks great, but I just don't know why the change was made.

SCARVES!

Some scarves I have made....

AFGHANS!

These are the afghans I have done/am doing.

I made this one for my husband Joe:

That one uses the corner-to-corner pattern, same as this one but I used scrap yarns on this:

This is my scrappy stairstep afghan, one of my favorites:

And yes, my cat Gustav loves it.

These were done using the granny stripe corner-to-corner pattern, with lots of scrap yarns:

These are entrelac/Tunisian crochet afghans:

Granny squares:

"WIP" means Work In Progress.

This one is a simple V stitch pattern:

...and my kitten Sonny loved it every time I pulled it out to work on it.
